How is it day 7 alreadyyy??? Community Service prompt!

     Today was a recovery day from yesterday, where I was very very tired. Also, a finish everything day! And I did finish a lot! We got up and went directly to the science building without even getting breakfast, but 20 minutes after we arrived large and yummy breakfast burritos were really for us! I didn't finish mine until lunch started... But in that time period before lunch I worked on my LilyPad bag and I finished it! It looks sooo great! It's one of my favorite projects I have ever done. Mixing art, fashion and technology is spectacular and fun. Sofia and I worked a lot on our Alice project which is pretty much done. (There's a couple details we need to add.) 

     Then lunch! Where I hardly ate anything because the burrito made me so full. But we watched Dexter so it's all good! AND THEN, there was a murder outside our building. Blood everywhere. Fingerprints carelessly left... It was our job to find the killer, the victim, and to retrace the events of that sad sad lunch time... It was difficult, but not too difficult for the team of Sofia, Jade and Dasha. Arianna will not get away with this one!

     But yea we had a wonderful time being detectives for an hour... Forensics is very awesome. And then for the rest of the day we worked on our projects more and went to the nicest fro-yo place ever!! It was like heaven!! 

   

     And for the prompt today... If I were given the opportunity to spend two hours a week working on a community task I would agree to work with and spend time with elderly people. I love old people and I love to help them!! I find them fascinating, and if you lived all alone in a nursing home wouldn't it be great for a couple cheery teens to come knock on your door and help you clean up or cook you something?? I would have fun. Also, I would gladly work at one of those soup kitchens and I would help give away food for the people who need it. It would give a lot to the community, and I would very much enjoy helping like that.

Day 6!!! Fashion...

     Sleeping in an extra hour this morning was very nice. Ally had to wake me up though. I was having very odd dreams that had to do with grief and mistakes that I don't want to make. So it wasn't exactly a fun sleep in. We then went to get breakfast and I got the most amazing hot chocolate, I know that it was hot outside but it was still amazing. Going to the Barnes and Nobel was a dream come true! Bookkks! I bought 5!! Then we went to the science hall and worked, worked and worked even more. I think we got a lot done! My bag looks pretty :) We worked with blood, realll blood. Joking! It was fake. I kinda wish it was real... It was still fun though. Even after all that work I still have sooo much to do. It's crazy.

    What kind of fashion do I like or dislike? Well, that's a tricky question. See, my taste changes a lot. I used to just like to wear colorful t-shirts and jeans, and now I like dresses and fancy-ish shirts. I like loud colors. The ones that don't look out of place, but still pop. I don't generally like a whole lot of make up or black on black (Unless you are trying to be a spy). I love converse and I've found a new love for bows! I love pea coats and boots!!!! (for winter) And flowers are nice too...

DAY FIVE! (already?) In10 years?

     Today...
   
     It was another one of those awesome days with new exciting activities and exciting teamwork! We started off at the bagel place and my orange juice was delich . XD And we ended breakfast with a nice couple games of set (That were actually very intense). I still need to beat Rose, I've only managed to tie with her... This shall be my mission. And I shall succeed. We are the set ninjas or masters. Either one... Breakfast ended and we made our way to the science hall and started painting our LilyPad Bags. I really like how mine turned out! Even though I'm not done with the painting. I also started on the code and finished my song, which is a distorted version of "Hey, Baby". (I just like how the music sounds...) And After that we went to lunch!!! Lunch was delicious again! And we also played more set!! yayy (Rose kept winning)

     After lunch we worked on Alice, and Sofia and I made the introduction fabulous with jaws music!! And the beginning of the story is coming along well, but we do still have a lot to do on it. Then, we headed out side and played a squishy game (because you tend to get squished) And at one point Sofia had to give me a piggy back ride so we all fit on one tiny blanket... I almost fell. After that we had nap time in the hallway. Most wonderful thing ever. Then to top off the day we did forensics! and my fingerprints are actually quite interesting. I love them!! My team and I did have a hard time figuring out who touched the items but it was all super fun! I would like to do more of that for sure.

     In 10 years I imagine myself in a nice college with many of my closest friends. I would either live in the dorms or have my own little apartment. I probably would be studying and learning a lot! By then I really would love to have my own catalog of artwork that I would take to artshows and sell. That is how I would pay for everything. I also would always explore. No matter where I go to college I will explore a lot!! :D

DAY 4!! Name prompt :)

Okay so this time I shall tell you what my day has been like and then I shall do the prompt!!!

I set my alarm a bit too early this morning. So I basically ignored it and yet ended up getting up at the right time, . Breakfast was very nice at the bagel place..... I got a hot chai, and it was very good. We talked about many things including how to say certain things in Spanish, and ear piercing horror stories, and we made a large Eiffel Tower high five! Woo! After breakfast we directly started working on Alice and the project Sofia and I are making about the Three Little Fishies and the Big Bad Shark! It's going to be GREAT! It's a lot of work to animate something though... WE then made a LED light light up using conductive string and a LilyPad. It was a lot of work to sew it all on a piece of fabric, but hopefully worth it. And then we went to lunch!! It was sooooo yummy. We ate lunch and played a very magical game name set! very magical!! After lunch we planned what our light up lily pad bags will look like and some people started on it. t took forever for me to design a butterfly with the word inspire written on it! I can't wait to start painting and sewing!! wooo and then.... we played a fun spoon and ball game that I failed at. HAHA AND then... the best of all.... We worked with NXT roboticssss! and Sofia and I started our super amazing fantastic NXT project! Its like a roller coaster but for little balls! It took a lot to make, but it was sooo fun! And the programming was really hard, but Linday helped us!! And we made a couple adjustments and made it even better! That was fun! YAYAY!

      After all the hard work we were able to go the pool! Sabrina, Michelle, Francis, Ally and I went there together! It was SUCH a nice pool! And I had to force my self to jump off the highest diving board and I survived!!!! WO. We had a good time!

     And now for the prompt...! My name. Jade Marie Comellas! I am not entirely sure why I was named Jade. I'm almost sure it just came to my parents one day, but the name means a lot to me. It really reflects my personality in a way... I love the color so much, it's one of my favorites. And I love the stone and most of all the plant. The plant is sooo great!! Jade plants are the best. My kind of plant entirely! I can actually keep them alive!!!! Marie has been my Mother's, grandmother's and greatgrandmother's middle name. I think it's just a fabulous name! I love it! And lastly... Comellas! Its an artist's name. My dad being a world renowned artist (And there are also many other artists in the family). I think it actually might have originated from camel-keeper, but I assure you, there are no camels that I am keeping!! :)))

Day 3!! :D My own restaurant.

My own restaurant would be like:
     I never really thought about what my own restaurant would be like. I don't think I'd honestly want my own. Cooking and serving isn't really my thing. But if I had to.... It would be a small little place that serves food from all over the world, not the American versions, but genuine food from those countries. My staff would all be funny and cleaver, but at the same time nice and loyal. I would want the costumers to have a fun time. The restaurant would be small and very colorful and filled with items from cultures around the world. I would name it something along the lines of Around the World Cuisine. That's not a creative name at all, but I didn't have too much time to brain storm. So its all good for now!

     Today was a very fantastic day. We started off going and getting breakfast at the Barns and Nobles. I had a nice little quiche and a cup of water. And when Rose and I decided to go up the escalator to look at books we were called back down to leave. I was sad, but the escalator rides were worth it.

     When we made are way to the YWiC room we started working on our apps more. Like I said before, our quiz app is turning out great. It does take a lot of programming though, but Arianna is fun to work with. AND then, we went out side and played a interesting game. Interesting and Fun! I didn't win though... Then, we learned about LilyPad, had lunch, (where I was almost forced to eat 3 Oreos at once) and lastly, we worked with Alice. Our project will be The Three Little Fishies and the Big Bad Shark! Yayyy, I can't wait to start it. and we just finished building awesome stuff! The twins made a machine gun. And now I am going to kill people in the hunger games!!! YAYYY <333

 2nd day of camp!! yayy

      Today was very fun. I got tired more quickly though. (I wonder why?) We started off with App Inventor and that went very well. My partner and I got a lot done! I think our app is going turn out great. It's an interesting program. 

      Also, we went outside and had to undo a human knot! I have always loved doing that. Then, we attempted to make a human pyramid, but it didn't work out too well. We probably got a couple good pictures while we were at it though. :) The rest of the day went fast. We did a lot and had a lot of fun. We learned and played around with Alice, but then we worked with NXT and made a gymnast. That went very well. I loved that activity. Hands on things are always exciting.

First day of camp

1st Day
      The first day of camp was very exciting. At first, I wasn't very sure about anybody, but I made friends fairly quickly. That is definitely my favorite part of the first day of camp. I love meeting new people, I usually try to get along with them. Also, it was great to move into a place that I've never been before. But I always do over pack so it took a while. At least I won't be missing anything I "need". It's kind of scary knowing I won't be home for a while, but that also makes it exciting. Yay!
